The Church of Christ in Thailand (CCT) has invited them on their return to Thailand, to begin an exciting work with the Mekong Ecumenical Partnership Programme (MEPP) which will provide them and their partner churches, including Gorgie, with opportunities to share in the life of and work of the churches in Asia. The next few years promise to be a challenge and a privilege as together with MEPP they address important local and national issues in some of the most volatile political situations in our world today.

Along with this Mike will be teaching part-time helping to train a new generation of Thai church leaders. Jane will also continue her HIV/AIDS work, this time in an urban setting.

Gorgie is one of 36 partner churches giving financial support, prayers and friendship.
Please contact Margaret if you would like to become involved yourself.

Burma

If you would like more infomation about the situation in Burma, there are excellent resources available that you can download from www.prayforburma.org or write to ccb@pobox.org if you would like booklets mailed to you.
