Mandate

In November 2003, eleven brave souls from Gorgie made the trip across to Belfast for the Mandate Conference. The weather was variable, but a good time was had by all. Mandate is a Christian Men's Conference, held in recent lears in the Waterfront Conference Centre overlooking Belfast Lough.

The speaker for the day was an American pastor called Alex Montoya, from California. He spoke to us on, and the seminars that we attended on the Saturday were about, reigniting a passion for God and a passion for others. The praise was led by Stuart Townend, whom many of you will know is the writer of some of the best known contemporary worship songs.

Here are a selection of pictures from the weekend. Thanks to Scott Galbraith for giving us the images to use.

The Main Hall. Looks quite busy, and the singing was amazing - even Andy sounded tuneful.

In November 2006, another group of men from Gorgie went to the Mandate Conference. Here are a few of the photos from that trip.
